"My work was originally autobiographical, incorporating found objects or objects from my past and creating books and assemblage pieces from them. Now I am really enjoying the process of creating "stories" from other people's personal items that they want incorporated into a piece. I want to tell a bigger story, I want to celebrate the beauty around us that is often overlooked. The most rewarding pieces for me are a combination of the book form incorporated into an antique box. There is so much more for me to learn and explore. I truly enjoy when others make a connection to my work and find their "story" in a piece."
